This Intermediate Level course takes a look at the infectious agents that cause Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) and the adverse outcomes that they cause. It will review the organisms capable of causing genital ulcers and warts, urethritis, and cervicitis, listing the signs & symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. It also takes a brief look at Trichomonas and vulvovaginal Candida, PID, epididymitis, and proctitis.

At the completion of this course the reader will be able to:
- Identify the infectious agents that cause Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs)

- Briefly discuss the causative STI agents for Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID), Epididymitis, and Proctitis.
- List several ways to prevent STIs from occurring.
