Discusses the etiology of VAP, recalling which organisms are most common. 4.) Recalls the virulence of the major organisms involved in VAP and how it affects VAP severity. 5.) Recalls the antimicrobial susceptibility of the common organisms in the treatment of patients with VAP. 6.) Discusses the methods for laboratory diagnosis of VAP.
