This course reviews common terminology as it relates to the gender spectrum and the LGBTQ+ community. It also reviews some of the more popular flags that represent different sectors of the community.

At the completion of this course the reader will be able to:

1. Recall the difference between Sex and Gender.
2. Define the meaning of the acronym LGBTQ+.
3. Define common terms used throughout the LGBTQ+ community.
4. Recognize popular flags that represent different sectors of the LGBTQ+ community.
