This Intermediate Level course takes a look at the 5 different types of white blood cells (WBCs), giving a brief background for each type and discussing the causes of increased or decreased values.

At the completion of this course the reader will be able to:

1. List the five different types of WBCs.
2. Give a brief background for each type of WBC.
3. Discuss the causes for increased or decreased values of each.
4. Identify what cell line each of the five WBC types originate from.
