In order to keep the U.S. blood supply safe, each potential donor must meet certain qualifications. Part of the qualification process is filling out a Donor History Questionnaire (DHQ) each time a person presents for donation. This course reviews the general donor requirements, the 41 questions on the DHQ, and the donor deferral period associated with answering YES to any of the questions.
Florida Licensees, this course provides 1 hour in Blood Banking and 1 hour in Immunohematology.
